In late October, 2025, Just World Educational launched a new video podcast series, “Gaza & the World” hosted by our president, Helena Cobban. This project explores the crucial role that the two-year genocide & the horrendous ongoing crisis in Gaza– and the resilience and resistance of the Palestinian people of Gaza– are playing in powering the deep current shifts the global balance of power.

We released the first five episodes in this series on a weekly basis. Scroll down on this Online Learning Hub to find the multimedia records of these conversations.

This work also built on resources that Just World Ed had produced in earlier projects, including the following:

• The project on "Understanding Hamas and Why That Matters" that we presented in May 2024, in which Ms. Cobban and Rami G. Khouri drew on the expertise of five veteran experts on the Hamas movement. In late September 2024, we published the records of this project in a handy and well received book of the same name.
• A convo Ms. Cobban conducted in early September 2025 on intra-Palestinian politics with Dutch-Palestinian expert Mouin Rabbani.
• A webinar we presented September 11, 2025 on the impact of the attack Israel had undertaken a few days earlier that targeted Hamas's negotiating team in Doha. Participating  with Ms. Cobban were: Rami Khouri,  Dr. Azzam Tamimi,  Dr. Khaled Hroub, Craig Mokhiber, and  Rick Sterling.
• A seminal convo Ms. Cobban conducted in  late September 2025 with Amb. Chas W. Freeman, Jr., on the interactions between the Israeli-US genocide in Gaza and the accelerating shifts in the global balance.
• A conversation Ms. Cobban conducted in early October 2025 with expert Ian Williams on the long history of the UN's engagement with Gaza.
