Just World Educational is pleased to host a speaking tour on the intersections of war and environmental destruction, featuring Gar Smith, who edited the recently published The War and Environment Reader, along with guest speakers — many of them contributors to the book.

Featured guests are: Haley Pederson, local staff for CODEPINK: Women for Peace focusing on their “Local Peace Economy” program, and Paul Cox of Veterans for Peace. Paul is particularly active regarding reparations and remediation for the Vietnamese because of the devastatingly lasting effects of unexploded ordinance and Agent Orange.
